Thomas Berkley Way
This urban infill 24 unit mixed use project is located in one of Oakland’s fastest growing neighborhoods, the Uptown District. In this dynamic mixed use urban neighborhood, we converted an asphalt parking lot into 24 one bedroom homes and a live-work space. The two story concrete first floor allows for the vertical car parking lifts, a grand lobby, and a large sunlit live-work space facing the street. The façade above is articulated with a center focal point of zinc panels, large windows, and a two story framed window grouping. The center piece is flanked by small urban decks and columns of horizontal siding. The project is currently under construction and will be on the market spring 2017.
