77 Dow
The building at 77 Dow Place is a very small skyscraper, with 83 very spacious loft-style dwellings. Each unit has a kitchen completed with cinnamon-fir cabinets and green/black granite, to add color to the stainless steel, raw concrete and pale plaster walls that compose the basic materials palette. Huge sliding doors are combined with windows in a two-story pattern, to express the nature of each unit on the building's elevations. The elevations are pure lustrous aluminum with colored accent panels in green, and with green and blue translucent dividers at grade.
